I wish more games played like this one. Every game is different and with so many options you don′t get bored. I play it on my Samsung tablet when I travel as it′s a great way to pass the time. Back in the 486 computer days when I played it all the time I had a winning strategy of creating flying ships and making them invisible. It was one the of best ways to beat the game on the highest difficulty.
Really d-fend is great , has dosbox inside.
30% of my cpu but aero is still alive.
I prefer rigid AI logic rather then nowadays addict AI tricks.But i admire invention and development of AI.
I love this game in total, maybe lot of speels, maybe interconnection of distributed points, maybe because of picture of magic window.
I made editors for these if you want to edit heroes to make weaker ones better or items a lot better. Download the visual basic runtime library (for free) then you can use these editors. it is a great game remembering playing all day and night when I was in the colleage.
An excellent game, I suppose it is something like a fantasy ′civ′ game, except you get to control the battles in excellent turn-based battles.
Played this game for the first time back in 95 and still to this day i can lose a hole day to it no problem. Thanks for all the extra stuff in the archive. This and XCOM make the best two MicroProse games ever!
Updated the game archive, don′t forget to download the manual zip file which contains tons of guides + unofficial fan made patches.
Downloaded this instead of trying to find my install cd. I was disappointed as this is some kind of hack job done on the origonal game. It has problems, things are missing, and the enemy AI has had a lobotomy. I suggest getting the real game somewhere else.
