I rarely feel this compelled to write reviews before I finish large portion of the game. But Legal Dungeon did it. If you are a puzzle game player that doesn't hate reading, or want to see a brand new interpretation of law & crime themed games, or are into games that make statements about our society -- then YOU MUST GET THIS GAME.
Right from the beginning of the tutorial mission of the game, it doesn't waste any time to set the tone of the game -- yes it's a document thriller not too far off from Papers Please or other 'fake operating system' games, but it is also so much more than that. Right from the start the narrative is very clear of its intention -- that you are operating in this 'police & law system' that's not always about seeing justice served -- or maybe the 'metrics' of justice is skewed at best. And also the actual judge may have different interpretation than your interpretation based on other factors.
